Doctor Who in History and Space…
The Doctor travels through time and space with the T.A.R.D.I.S. – and has travelled more often to parallel universes and the future than to the past. When traveling back, the Doctor met several well-known people or events in the past, especially of the English history.
The visits are heavily influenced by modern times, as more than half of the time travels to the past took place between the Victorian Age and the present.
In total, there are 39 time travels to the past, with Doctor and companions respectively travelling twice to different pasts in two episodes each.
